REVIEWS
"I honestly wanted to like this one. I enjoyed the futuristic Japan setting, and I even enjoyed the oddly cast Ryan Reynolds (I don't understand casting such an expressive actor as essentially a blank slate), but it just doesn't fit together very well." - Paul Ontkean, Pittsburgh Post-Gazette
"Brian Tee is a real standout here. Ryan Reynolds gets top billing making a fat salary, but ultimately is just pretending to be Tee, who when he is on-screen (and not being portrayed by Reynolds) delivers an intense performance." - Matthew Ellis, USA Today
"The film is such a weird mix of science fiction ideas that it's hard to even critique. Like most work from a Wachowski, it wears its influences on its sleeve. If you like the same things Lana Wachowski likes, you're bound to like this one. But based on recent work from the director, that's a big if (and a big no from me)." - Mark Plainsview, ReelViews
Rated PG-13 for sci-fi action violence
